Breaking News: Courtney Westley Secures Olympic Qualification for Paris 2024!

Hats off to the incredible Courtney Westley who just clinched her spot in the Women’s Single Sculls (W1X) for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!  In a nail-biting race, she showcased sheer determination, finishing a close 2nd against the formidable Nihed Benchadli from Algeria, with a remarkable time of 8:03.71 – just 5 seconds behind.

A huge shoutout to Courtney’s coach, the brilliant Thaton Mokoena, whose guidance and expertise played a pivotal role in this outstanding achievement!  This dynamic duo is not only making waves in the world of rowing but is also paving the way for women’s rowing in Africa.
